Hanging around in airports

... is mostly what we've been doing today. I was only half-joking when I suggested we should try the train next time. We left home at 9 am French time and got here at 6 pmBritish time, so ten hours including the time difference. Of those, two were spent actually in the air.

It was a lovely day in Girona, but we drove across the Pennines from Manchester in heavy traffic and pouring rain.Here, it's grey and overcast but the promised toerrential rain and gale force winds have not appeared.
