Hands up

I finally went to see the traditional Kirkwall Ba' - read up on it if you're interested.

I may be easily amused nowadays but I thought it was absolutely fantastic! It can go on for hours and hours and sadly had to leave after 3 hours in order to put the roast in the oven, but I could have easily watched till the end - it ended up in the harbour basin again, meaning a win for the Doonies. I was so engrossed in it, I only took TWO, yes TWO photos. Here's the other one.

I met PW and HV there and both of them have blipped the Ba' before, this Christmas Day!

I was fascinated by the scrum, the decoy runs, the spectators, and also the huge amount of people who can afford a D5! I want! :)
