Architecture of the day

This spot in downtown Moscow always catches my eye, it's almost a perfect reflection of the city style or lack of it. It's just off Tverskaya street, 3 min from the Red Square. Three building, three different eras in archtecture: the 50s, the 90s to the left and to the right and the 18th century in the middle. Blipped it against the sun which is just behind the tall building (the 50s), this is why there are these reflections of light on the church from the windows of the building on the opposite side of the street (Telegraf building).
