Snowdrops

Yesterday during our walk about, it became apparent that my leg pains, due to the trapped nerve in the back, were less intense. I must therefore conclude that the latest medication that has been given to me as a pain block is actually partially effective. Unfortunately, although the pain is reduced the control over the leg during this situation is still very poor, but I could walk about unsteadily and without too much difficulty. So today I am resting to get the leg working properly again. Just after lunch Mrs GOG and I took a walk about our waterlogged garden, which is very overgrown, to see just what is growing. There were a large number of Winter Aconites out and a few snowdrops, but most of the snowdrops (a different variety in exposed conditions) had not yet opened; this picture is of such a clump.
