Time and Tide

I find myself occasionally checking tide times etc., as high tides seem to offer less...Additionally, I am more aware than usual of the change in sunrise/sunset times etc., and I constantly check the weather forecast - ie. what will it be like when I stop off on the way home from work tomorrow afternoon....must be the blip effect.
