Allanwater, Dunblane, Perthshire

The home town of my mother's family. A sad return which became a happy day. We'd travelled north to inter my uncle's ashes in the graveyard of the family church. A lot of happy memories shared with my sister, a walk around the town, a lovely lunch with friends and then a quiet and peaceful service. Follow this up with a trip to the Falkirk Wheel and a sunset over the Forth at Silverknowles and you can see what a lot we packed into this day. And only one picture!! This one, a rather picture postcard representation of a special place.
