Don't look now...

Today we went to visit friends who live in the country. So we were typical urbanites who were tickled to meet actual chickens.

As we'd fed them some bread, they decided to follow us down the lane. Thwarted by the cattle grid they didn't manage to come along to the rope swing though which was a relief to the little one.

Lots of lovely flowers and occasional sunshine. Damn chilly though. This summer needs to take a long hard look at itself.
