ON THE MOVE

Gorgeous light again this evening.

There used to be a sea wall here.
Massive granite boulders surrounded
by a concrete holding frame.
Reinforced with gambions,
full of smaller rocks .
Topped off with
truckloads of granite building rubble

Nearly all gone now.
The inexorable force of nature
has torn into the dunes,
seeking the Beach Boulevard.
