Waverley

The Festival has sneaked up on me.

We were at a few Art Festival openings tonight. The first was on Cockburn St so I took a shortcut (well, more of a longcut but a nicer walk) through Princes St Gardens to get there. This is the view from the Gardens towards Waverley station.

It looked like a good exhibition but as often happens there were too many people there to have a good look at the work; I'll need to revisit. Then onto the Art College where I liked some of the exhibits and finishing off at the Talbot Rice gallery which left me distinctly underwhelmed. We squeezed in a curry buffet along the way and the combination of that with a couple of beers, some prosecco and wine has left me a wee bit stuffed. This Festival going is hard work!
