Batten Down the Hatches

Warnings everywhere to brace for remnants of Hurricane Anna. It is hitting our Island tonight all the way from Hawaii.

It is only calm and drizzling here just now.

Taking these water taxis are a favourite treat with my little American nieces when they visit. I use to watch the taxis every morning from my office do a boat water ballet in the harbour when we hosted the Commonwealth Games. Very charming.

Well the news is back on blaring about sandbags and wind and rainfall warnings. Ooh I do love a good storm. Still mild out... for now.
