Birthday present

This is what my lovely lovely wife gave me for my birthday.......the miniature, not the 20p. Isn't it wonderful? Hand painted on velum.
Spent a lovely afternoon in Islington. Went to a super artists supply shop, for me this is like a candy store. Then we went to see the film 'Mr Turner'. Wow what a film, fabulous lighting, amazing sets and costumes incredible acting and emotionally draining.

Followed this up with a lovely early evening meal. All in all I've had a wonderful birthday. Thank you to everyone for their birthday greetings.
