A Blip on the Reidar

Reflecting...

Busy weekend of yet more accounts rubbish, I'm bored of sorting out my ignored own fault accounts and can't wait for the ordeal to be finished with. While I was busy typing in accounts info into a spreadsheet I watched the scores of the Livingston versus Dunfermline game refresh itself every two minutes on the internet. So here's my first proper complaint about being in a lower league this season, no live radio/internet commentary on the game. The first away game of the season that I didn't make it too but here's a report of such anyway.

Livingston 1-1 Dunfermline
Almondvale
Attendance: 2,494

It appears that once again Dunfermline had a man red carded and sent off, so that makes it three times in three games. Are we trying to set a new record? This time it was Bamba, so I'm guessing he wasn't man of the match for most Pars fans this time. The sending off led to a penalty for Livingston which they scored on the 81st minute. So it looked like we where heading for yet another lose but thankfully Owen Morrison scored a lovely goal from a free kick in the 89th minute and earned us a draw. Hurrah! Not a win but not lose either, so I guess some glimmer of hope can be taken from that. I hope our season gets kick started soon or we will not be getting out of this league any time soon.

On a positive note Dunfermline have signed Paul Gallagher as replacement goal keeper on a six month loan from Norwich City. Apparently we had to field one of the coaches as a substitute keeper for the match on Sunday as our third placed keeper was injured. So we should have that all covered now, I hope...
