A-a-and relax!

Phew!

Well I've made it. Perhaps not right at the start but near the beginning of my time on blip I set myself a target of making it to 365 blips without skipping a single day. At times it's felt like a real slog but I've finally made it. Over the course of the last year I feel like I've learned a lot about photography evene if I had fairly regular crisis of confidence days where I decided my shots were rubbish and wondered if I'd make it all the way to 365. I reckon these days would have got the better of me if not for the community on here. Either by posting great comments or simply by taking fantastic, inspirational photos everyone on here has helped me out when I was struggling and I'd like to say thanks to all of you. As several people have said in the past it's all the great people on here that makes it such a good site. I don't want to go into listing names as I'd be worried about missing anyone out.

I reckon that now I've reached my target I can take a more relaxed, and possibly healthier, attitude towards blipping. Lots of times, especially in the last couple of months I've got near the end of the day and been a bit frantic about not having gotten a blip yet that day. From now on I can be more relaxed about it. As I said yesterday I'm not remotely thinking about giving up but if I get a day where I havent chanced upon a shot or had a good idea for one then I'll be happy to let that day slide.

Anyway, I thought I should dry and do something a bit unusual for my 365th blip as there have been several great ones so far. I think it could be a while before anyone tops my favourite which is Wingpig's Indiana Jones themed one, but I was lucky in that mine timed quite nicely with the current assignment. Since my blog has been 365 fragments of my year I thought my blip should be 365 fragment of me (no really it is 365, some of the fragments are twice the size of others.) I appreciate it's a bit similar to Joe's thousandth blip without quite the effort Joe put in obviously, but hopefully it's suitably different to not be a rip off. Anyway imitation is the sncerest form of flattery.

I'd have done this earlier in the day but it's Sunday and I didn't want to put anyone off their breakfast.

I'll stop waffling on now, but thanks everyone for making this such a fun place and thanks to Joe, Alex and Blipcentral for making it in the first place.
