The Perspective of a Breakfasting Flaneur

This is Houndwell Park, Southampton, seen from a table just inside Bella Italia. The Street is Above Bar, which runs northwards from The Bargate to the junction of Cumberland Place, Bedford Place, London Road and Brunswick Place. I have a love-hate relationship with my home city, but one of the things I unequivocally love about it is the generous allocation of green spaces, not only in the city centre but in many places around the wider city.
