And the seasons they go round and round
And the painted ponies go up and down
We're captive on the carousel of time
We can't return we can only look behind
From where we came
And go round and round and round
In the circle game Joni Mitchell

This is #3 daughter walking into university carrying her MSc Dissertation with her. Twenty-five years ago practically to the day, her oldest sister walked into the playground at school to join Primary One. Twenty-five years of the educational experience, and you might say today that it probably is done with. So many laughs and tears, successes and (thankfully temporary) disappointments. So many parents' nights, and end-of-term shows, and prizegivings. Six degrees (yes, we are assuming the sixth, but reasonably I hope) in six different universities.

Wow - it seems like longer, it seems like shorter. But everyone in the process has done their best - and worked hard, not simply to gain the bits of paper but to put the fruits of learning into good life experience.

Twenty-five years - and today it is done! (Probably!)
