I live in Southern New Hampshire in the USA with my husband (Mr. Badger) and our two dogs Loki and Corra. They are the subjects of 90%+ of my blips :) I have been obsessed with dogs since I was born (according to my Mum ... I don't remember ...) and from the moment I could talk, I asked for a dog (and eventually my family got a crazy little Jack Russell Terrier named Cindy - loved that dog!) So anyway, yes, I love dogs. I love training them, photographing them, playing with them, researching them ... you get the idea.

So, seeing as my dogs are a huge part of my life, here are some quick bios on them:
Loki was picked up as a stray in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was flown to a shelter in New England, US after having been fostered. Our best guess is that he is a border collie x spaniel mix, but all we know for sure is that he's all kinds of mutted up! Mr. Badger and I fell in love with him and adopted him. He has a slew of behavioral problems - fearful and reactive to strange people and dogs. We are working on his issues, but he is a work in progress :) He is a walking example as to why you should socialize your dogs as puppies!!

Corra is a Cardigan Welsh Corgi I purchased from a local breeder I have been following for years. Cardigans are one of my favorite breeds and she is a wonderful addition to our family. She is the funniest dog I have ever met (looking and in personality!) and she has brought a lot of joy to our home. Loki has a (crazy) buddy and I have a dog who enjoys going to training classes with me. I plan on continuing her training - we will be doing Rally-O, Agility, and (hopefully!) herding in the near future.

I graduated from college with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Studio Art. I've been working as a software engineer for more than 6 years now (time flies -_-) ... though I have dreams of doing something a little more artsy at some point in my life. Mr. Badger and I are also hoping in the not too distant future to purchase a small hobby farm. Well, okay, that is mostly my dream, but Mr. Badger is a fabulous husband and he is pretty excited at the idea too ;)
