First solo

Over to Dollar this evening for the opening of
Elizabeth Ogilvie’s paintings in the Green Gallery.

I first met Elizabeth when we both attended the same Life Drawing class. Little did I know then as I worked on my book about the time I did a Masterclass with the iconic sculptor and printmaker, Eduardo Paolozzi, that Elizabeth’s first husband was his official biographer.

This is Elizabeth’s first solo exhibition though she has painted for many years. She says the work is influenced by dementia, a condition her grandfather suffered from.
