Walk to the committee meeting..

Lots of breadsticks planted out on the croft today. The soil is quite dry on top, but still damp underneath. I may have to sort out some irrigation though.

Managed to burn some old rushes and reed canary grass, now I can see some new beds possibly, but will have to sort some drainage out..

Then a gala committee meeting in the Anchorage. This is always bad. Firstly I get landed with jobs, and secondly, the bar is open. I don't normally drink on a Monday, but it has been a long hot day!!

And Gills flying home on Friday after a twelve day stay to look after her mum..
