The veg patch.

..time for an update I suppose.

Manicured (edit: that spell checker again! MANURED) and ploughed early this year, and after a wet spell, it was some time before I could get it rotorvated. I was also able tho start sowing seeds earlier. Some have been successful, but I may have to re-sow others..

Brassicas brought on as plug plants, and then in 7 cm pots, have been planted out.

Today, and I know it's late, but got my onions in. Then cleared one side of the polytunnel ready for transplanting runner beans, it had been mustard salads which I've harvested twice, and were getting stemy and going to seed. Then cut two trays of lettuce for the Anchorage.
Then took my jalo push hoe to the veg patch and hoed all this patch. Ground is getting quite dry and compacted, we've not had rain since 27th Apr!
And finally, hoed around some of the blackcurrant bushes..

Think I've earned my tea!!
