RNLI Open Day

It was a shame that it rained all day but that didn't spoil the lifeboat tour. I really enjoyed looking round this boat and talking to some of the crew.

The boat is self-righting and we were told that there are no conditions in which it cannot be launched. There are conditions in which you might not want to launch it,  but that isn't the same thing. The boat is soon to be replaced by a faster boat.
