The Mount

The Mount, which overlooks the promenade, is a small hill in Fleetwood. The pavilion at the top was designed by the architect Decimus Burton in the 1800s. The Mount was originally the centre point of Fleetwood with the streets of the town radiating out from it. I understand that the owner of Fisherman’s Friend Lozenges has recently put up a million pounds for the restoration of the gardens.
