Experience the art of contemporary cuisine

Who would have thought after two years of lockdown (on and off) going out for lunch would be such an adventure?

Well,  that’s what it felt like today when we set off for one of our favourite restaurants The Gallery run by Forth Valley College catering department.

The food is always 5 star, not that we know what 5 star Michelin food is like only that it is vastly superior to anything else we have eaten in the area.

But  is not reflected in the price,  £9 for a two-course meal (see extra for the menu),

M opted for the pan-fried red mullet with lemon thyme noodles followed by rump of lamb with Lancashire Hotpot and I had French onion soup followed by braised butternut squash with quorn.

We both had warm poached fruit.
And all for £12 each.
What’s not to like?
