Spring Greens…..

The environs around the upper Taylor River and Taylor Dam are strikingly green at the moment despite dry weather conditions. I side tracked to the Dam when I was out and about at lunchtime. The narrower section of the river can be seen in the distance. From there the flow slows down as it approaches the outlet to the dam. It was a warm, breezy day.. Very springlike.
Good friends from Christchurch visited me this morning. We had a great catch-up with family and local news and a lot of laughs.
