New outdoor furniture

We're back in Cornwall for 3 months, and as such, Ann is aiming to spend a lot of time on our very sunny sun terrace. Actually we could do with Mr Sunshine returning. It's been a bit dull and cold the last couple of days?! Ann likes nothing better than lying in the sun, chillaxing, or sitting in the sun with friends with a glass of chilled white wine.

She's bought herself a load of new furniture.................. a relaxing rocking sun lounger and a couple of comfy chairs with a coffee table for 'wine drinking' with friends. Oh, and a parasol and parasol base, for when she's sitting writing her book ('My life in lockdown') at the table and chairs we already have (see extras).

Anyway, all our new furniture needed building so our very lovely friend, Geoff, popped round this morning to construct it. (This is Geoff testing out our new lounger). It's all very well buying stuff off Amazon, with the tag, 'easily constructed', but in Ann's experience nothing is ever 'easily constructed'. Geoff arrived with an electric screwdriver and a load of other stuff so he actually constructed it pretty quickly. If someone had built it with the tools/screws provided it would have taken all day................

My human isn't sure whether she will be leaving all this lovely new outdoor furniture on our sun terrace for guests to use when we head back to Edinburgh in July. On the one hand, we want our guests to have the bestest experience ever, when they stay in our home. And chillaxing on our very sunny sun terrace is definitely one of our USPs. On the other hand, this furniture has cost a few hundred pounds and does my human really want it ruined within a few months by holiday makers who can't be bothered to bring the cushions indoors at night or put the covers over it when it rains????

Problems, problems?!!
