Sunny but cold

This morning we woke up to Mr Sunshine shining brightly, but OMG it was cold when I went along the lane first thing. Ann is desperate to get into the sea to do some swimming, but that's not looking very likely at the moment. She went to Zumba at 9am and wore trousers because it was too cold to walk there in her knee length leggings. And she's been wearing her fluffy slippers in the house. She's sure that last year at this time she was wandering around in bare feet!

Late morning we went to Godrevy so that I could have a play on the beach. Doesn't it look lovely and sunny in this photo. Yes the camera does lie. It was absolutely freezing. I didn't care though as I was zooming around all over the place and I even had to do my speediest running on the dunes because there were quite a few bunnies that needed chasing.

This afternoon I did lots of chillaxing on the sun terrace while Ann put up her new solar powered lights. Even though it was cold, I quite like snoozing outside. I never snooze on the balcony in Edinburgh unless Ann is sitting out there with me. Here I'm outside more than I'm inside.

…..................And then I went into the field for a play with my ball but after 10 mins I was exhausted so I brought it back home and lay guarding it on the sun terrace.
It's very sunny on our sun terrace now (5.45pm) and Ann is desperate to get out there and sit on our new furniture with a glass of wine, but it's just too cold. Booohooo. An evening in front of the TV it is then.

And in other news...................... One of our neighbours has just knocked on our door and told us that our back left car tyre is looking a bit flat. He says that we have to put some air in it. Mmmmmmm................... Ann doesn't know how to do that, so she'll be putting a post on FB soon to see if any of her St Ives friends can accompany her to the 'air putting in thingy' tomorrow. What Ann doesn't understand is...................... The dashboard on our car regularly pops up with a message that says, 'check tyre pressure' and when she takes it to Kwikfit in Edinburgh, there's never anything wrong with the tyre pressure. And yet now that the tyre is a bit flat, we haven't had any warning at all. It was the same years ago when we had a puncture. No warning?!!! #Problemsproblems
