Notes: Up early-ish, got air flowing and slept a little more. Coffee and online, a bit anxious all morning. Nestor came by for the 3rd and final time to sand the bathroom wall and apply some texturing (stinky stuff!). I went to pool for a bit - had it all to myself today which was so nice! Back and talking to Mom a bit as GPS took them off I75 onto 2 lane. It wasn't a great route and turns out there was a big semi crash but we got them back on the interstate and they arrived just after 3p. I met them over that nearby Holiday Inn Express - they can see why I don't love this area! I took them to Fish Camp for a nice late lunch/early dinner (for all of us) - we had great waitress, very quiet time and wonderful food. Mom & I split key lime pie for dessert and we stepped for a DQ twist cone for Dad on the return. Brought them to my place, gave mom her Mother's Day bag, took the small tour of my place, sat and chatted awhile and then walked to show them pool/community center. It all went quite well and was so grateful! I had been anxious for much of the day but kept affirming that it would be healing, releasing and joyful for all of us since our last gathering Christmas 2020 was pretty stressful, combative and full of tension. I hadn't seen them since then. I drove them back to hotel around 645p, helped them get their things to the room and then came back for my shower and relaxing.
