The wait

Arrived back from holiday yesterday morning at 5am. About to go to bed last night about 9ish when I received a message from work asking if I could be at Hibernian's training ground for 9am this morning for a new signing they were planning to unveil.

As glamorous as people think the job is there's a whole lot of waiting to be done. I arrived at 9am and had to wait until 10.30 to start doing pictures due to the player going through his medical. Once those pictures were done it was another wait whilst we waited on some strips arriving from the clubs stadium before we could do the next set of images. This was taken whilst the player carried out his interview with the clubs in-house media team. Kit arrived, final set of images captured, edited and send across to the picture desk to be held until the club announced the deal early this evening, only then could the pictures be sent out to the press for them to use.
