The weather has turned

We had a VERY loud clap of thunder this afternoon. I was glad I was inside.

Started the day off with a half hour physio appointment. She is happy with my progress and gave me some more balancing exercises. I asked what to do about a rash around the knee. Looked like a prickly heat rash babies get. I sent a photo through which she sent to the surgeon and I had a reply within half an hour. Pretty happy with the health care here.

Later we had arranged for some old nursing friends to visit. The organiser sent out a message to the other 5 to say bring your own food as I couldn’t cater. I suggested morning tea at 10.30. Well I wasn’t sure how many were coming. 1 was away. 2 ended up sick, one came at 10.30 which I hadn’t expected and the husbands were also otherwise occupied. The organiser arrived at 11.45! A bit of a schmozzle but was ok in the end.
