Promise

The day started with much promise... I spotted the clematis outside my bedroom window looking perky and ready to burst any minute. The sun was shining and the day was looking good.  Our daughter came downstairs feeling 'a little' better and had some toast for breakfast. She then managed to pack up the car and split some cherry logs down to make spoon blanks so I think she was feeling better generally. She had basically slept for a day and a night.
They cleared off around noon and the house feels empty.. however I just found a deposit on the carpet.. furball related I think.. ah well.. thanks J!!

No need to read on.. just a moan to remind me in years to come that nothing really matters except love and friendship with people and neighbours (when possible)

Removals men came for the second day to remove the rental neighbours from the developers house.. he has moved back in with a vengeance, stamping foot and claiming his rights to the area outside our house.... it isn't his and any rights died out with the previous owner.. his idea of claiming his 'implied rights' was to park a skip on it.. and deigned to say he didn't mind if I used the area occasionally.. he is a jumped up son of a .... (insert impoliteness for yourself!).  We have owned this house since he was a squit in primary school and now he is a big boy he is a bully.
His unpleasant text arrived late this afternoon and made me so angry I totally forgot about my blood test that was booked.. arghghghg!!  Now it will have to be done after Easter.. how irritating is that??!!  There has been an unclaimed wheelie bin doing the rounds in our courtyard for a couple of weeks and I had finally heard today that it didn't belong to the developer.. (hence the text conversation with him.. wish I hadn't bothered) having heard it wasn't his I dragged it back out on to the road this evening and the other neighbour got shirty about the bin being left up on the road outside their house.. she is a friend but was loose with her language.. I said I was bringing it back up to the road as it was horrible having it down by our house for two weeks.  I have said I will ring the council to have it removed asap. Various other disagreements have popped up today and been dealt with and now my mood must lift. It helps writing it down and puts it in perspective..
