Quick snap

Busy day and took no photos other than this quick snap outside the health centre where we needed to pick up some meds. I was enjoying the evening sun through these grasses and then we drove off to Somerset where we have come for a weekend away. Lovely
The gardeners managed to spread most of the mulch ( on the grass out front) then the skip arrived and before I could get outside he had offloaded it , squeezing it onto the grass and squishing the edge of the sack and the palette. I managed to get him to reposition it on the parking space instead (a mini triumph in my eyes). The next hour saw dismantled (less than a year old) flat pack wardrobes and storage dumped into it… they must have been bought by the tenants when they took the ‘holiday’ house and tried to live there. The waste is beyond me.. I’m guessing at least £1000 worth and I absolutely know a local charity would have collected it all… just needed a phone call and some thought and planning.
Just before we left another neighbour rattled on the door saying her husband had taken ill suddenly and where was the nearest hospital!!.. I hope all is well.. waiting to hear
