Wind Break

I decided a trip to the beach was in order today as the forecast is mixed for the next few days. I’m afraid to say that despite the warm sunshine, I was in and out of the water in about 10 secs. The water wasn’t particularly cold but the wind was too fresh for me! These little stripy Chiringuitos were being built up around me and deck chairs were being delivered (the beach season runs from end of April to end of October) and I wish I’d nabbed this chap’s sheltered spot.
After heading home for a late lunch and short siesta (very little alcohol involved) I tried to track down a parcel that had been delivered and then returned but it was a wild goose chase involving several post offices.
I took part in a Zoom parish meeting tonight. I enjoyed the company.
