Home again

Early start at 6.30 as our pickup window was 7.20 - 7.50. By 7.20 Miss PHL hadn’t appeared so I called her and she answered in a panic as her alarm had failed to go off! I went back upstairs and helped her with the final packing and guess what? Bus finally turned up at just before 8! We were the last pick up and made really good time to the airport.

Cases dropped and we were through security and enjoying a coffee by just after 9. Flight left in time and landed twenty minutes early. Seemed to take quite a long time to get the cases but we were in the car around forty minutes after landing. We dropped Miss PHL at her flat and took Susan home before picking up a few essentials at the supermarket.

I got the cases emptied and a load of washing in the machine before we collected Phin from daycare. Think he was quite pleased to see us as he couldn’t stop licking our hands and wagging his whole body!

We decided that tomorrow was soon enough to start eating smaller portions and get back into our healthier eating so we had fish and chips for tea.
