Rainy Day

While out doing a few errands we stopped at the bookstore to browse books and hangout in the cafe for a bit • In the next couple of days I’ll be finishing Erik Larson’s Dead Wake: The Last Crossing of The Lusitania. It’s been a fascinating read and if you’re a fan of historical nonfiction I highly recommend it • I wanted to checkout John Connolly, an Irish writer, who has a connection to Maine. During summers he worked in Maine while attending college, and also owned a home in Portland for many years. Because of his familiarity he references many real-life places in his fictional works. I bought one hoping it’s a light and fun read • The sun returns tomorrow, and Saturday is looking dry too! • Happy Reading :)
