A Day In The Life

Afternoon Delight

With the Kennebec being a tidal river it’s common to see seagulls here, lots of them, almost as many as what gathers along the coast or at the beach. We were mesmerized by these two herring gulls at the boat landing this afternoon • They carried on for ten minutes or more rubbing beaks, necks and heads; circling one another while gazing into each other’s eyes. MrsP thought one was feeding the other. Google says during courtship the male regurgitates and feeds the female. So yummy, fish and chips. After the intense interaction one suddenly flew away, I assume it was the female • Love is definitely in the air :) • Happy Friday Y’all! • Peace & Love
