C Is For Carrot Cake and..

I've done quite well today with my Alphabet Challenge. We went to collect Kat from her holiday to save her struggling with a rucksack on the train and buses. It made a nice trip out through the countryside for us and very soon I got my blip: Carrot Cake and Coffee in the Café at Comrie Croft

Discussing what we could do for the rest of the day, we said we had been surprised to see The Kelpies beside the road. Kat said it wouldn't be far off our journey to go and see them. Before that, she said, let's have a look at the nice view of a waterfall at Deil's Cauldron, (in Extras).  There were lots and lots of steps down to the viewing point and such a lot to climb back up. I managed it!

We went to The Kelpies had lunch in the café there and then went out taking shots. We'd never seen them before. I so much wished they were Celpies! I'd have been able to but them as my main picture but I'm saving them to star another day. They can go in Extras for now.

As if that wasn't enough, Kat wanted to go to the Hopetoun Garden Centre. It's very lovely but all I wanted to do was sleep in the car. When I woke up I had a cup of tea from our picnic bag and then joined them.

We had our evening meal at a Toby Carvery on Howden Hall road. A nice end to a great day.
