Day at a Time

Meadow Buttercup

Orchard buttercup actually. The buttercups always grow so well round the fruit trees and they're starting to show themselves now. I had gone out intending to blip a patch of pretty speedwell that I'd noticed but that didn't work as well as the buttercup. As you see from the raindrop it was a wet night but now, I believe, we're in for a few days of more spring-like weather. Hooray for that. Thank you Miranda for the lovely wildflower challenge.

I took possession of a new pair of walking sandals yesterday. I live in them in the summer and I can usually get a few seasons before I have to replace. The old pair had lost all grip and support. The new ones feel so much better. Elegant they are not but they are the best I've found for my needs.

Another quietish day of pottering for me.
