Blowing his own Bullet Proof Bomb

A lovely warm Sunday and I took Morrigan up to the Cambridge (Glos) Little Vintage Show - not that she's that old yet. 

It was so hot I had to pay the stupid tax and buy a hat, because of course I'd not brought one - ignoring the crash helmet which would have looked a little odd... so I think djrose007 (manning the RBL Riders stand) might have a blip of us with me looking very Man from Del Monte...

There was a wide range of vintage vehicles and paraphernalia to enjoy walking around, and I was very taken with this 1929 Cadillac Fleetwood 5.7 litre V8, which put me very much in mind of the Ant Hill Mob's Bulletproof Bomb. It even had a (replica) machine gun on the back seat! 

The grill and headlights were so imposing I was unsure whether to go with them or this hood ornament figure. (and yes, I gather the Ant Hill Mob drove a foot-powered 1927 Packard 433 series 6). Ultimately, I liked the bokeh behind the figure better...
