Sky’s The Limit

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny & The Mini Princesses,

It was a supper club night. Yaaaay! We went to Nok’s kitchen for dinner and the food was fantastic.

And there was big news - Dee was on a date last night! She had decided to keep her date quiet but it turns out that Edinburgh really is a village.

She was first spotted having a pre-dinner drink in the pub…by her son! His mate clocked her when he was up at bar and returned to the table with the round of drinks and “Your mum’s over there…with a bloke!”

The next time was by one of her best mates who saw her going into the restaurant.

She had no idea she’d been seen as her spotters hadn’t wanted to cause awkwardness by going over but by the time she arrived home, there was a flurry of inquiring messages and the cat had left the bag for dust.

I have no idea what will happen but she had a lovely night. Enough to want to do it again. We were like a bunch of teenage girls with lots of “ooh” and “ahh” and “nice”.

If it works out, this lucky, lucky man will get to meet us too. Sometimes it’s best not to know what’s ahead of you!

PS Dee took the picture as the moon and the sky looked really cool. This was not the most exciting thing you could see in the sky tonight but somehow the four of us missed the Aurora!
