Carrots anyone?

When Peter Rabbit arrived at her house at Easter, my sister wasn't sure where he should live. Luckily, as she's a woodturner, there was the perfect platform in her window.

We're back home now after seeing our great-nephew performing at The Garrick theatre in Lichfield. He was playing the role of Ferdinand in a loose adaptation of The Tempest, which turned it into a kind of musical pantomime. He was superb, as was the whole cast, all students aged 16-18 from the South Staffordshire college, The orchestra was made up of students, the art work and stage sets were produced by students, the programme design - everything! So much work went into the show and it was most enjoyable.

It was a soggy drive home, but we've unpacked and shall have an early night. (The raindrops on the window also show how the weather has changed!)
