Another Day

A flotilla of Canada Geese

We are now at The Watersmeet hotel in Woolacombe after a good journey up from Cornwall.  We stopped off in Bude for elevensies and where the mist had descended after sun most of the way up the coast.

Woolacombe is also misty and we can only just see Baggy Point from our suite.  There are usually one or two quirks with rooms and this is no exception.  The plug sockets are situated just above the dado rail and it is therefore virtually impossible to get a plug all the way into the socket.

As you would expect, we have tea and coffee making facilities but the kettle plug won’t go into any socket other than one situated on the floor outside the bathroom.

The bath is a huge corner thing which takes an age to fill and feels as though you should have oars.  Also the plug is set in the centre and it’s easy to sit on and as a result pops up and starts to empty the bath.

I’ll be sure to let you know if there are other excitements.

JJ has had an upset stomach for the past two or three days, so what made him think Moules was a good idea for dinner.  We’ll see.

I’ve just added tonight’s sunset.
