St. Oswald’s Way Day 2

16 mile walk from Kirkwhelpington to Rothbury. Very warm day and nowhere really to stop on the way. We made sure we sat and rested regularly anyway, but a hard day in the sun! More bovine challenges - we came to cross a small bridge and there was a bull at the other end with a resting calf next to him. I refused to cross - he didn’t look at all friendly! A bit of a reroute and we managed to get back on track fairly easily. Hoping for fewer cows as we move to the coast!
