I'm in love with a pair of Russian puppets...

So on Wednesday night, a guy pitched a show to me about two Russian puppets named Boris and Sergey (pictured). Ever since, it's been the only show I could talk about. I convinced Hannah to come and see them with me on Tuesday night. I didn't know they had two shows. Tonight we got free tickets for the sequel show. I'm not sure anything could have made me happier. I appreciate I'll be seeing the shows back to front, but that's fine; I'm doing a Star Wars.

Another fringe filled day. Every one of them were paid shows (usually about a £10-15 each) but we're good at getting comp or reduced tickets! We've saved a fortune!

1. 13.05 The King and Queen of the Universe. A play set in the Depression about 2 upper class lovers experiencing the effects of poverty for the first time. Thought provoking and well acted.

2. 14.45 Mother F. A show about motherhood and the death of a parent. In my opinion a truly awful show. I only stayed the whole hour to be polite, but I died a little inside.

3. 16.00 Bec Hill: Bec By Popular Demand. Very good stand up by an Australian woman and flip chart art. I would have paid to see this one - check her out.

4. 17.55 Blam. Definitely one of this year's must see shows! It got a standing ovation yesterday and another one today. It's the Office, meets Die Hard, meets superheroes. I would have paid to see this one too!

5. 21.10 EastEnd Cabaret: Dirty Talk. A smutty cabaret show without enough songs. Entertaining, but apparently not as good as last year!

6. 23.10 Boris & Sergey 2 Perilous Escapade. Absolutely amazing puppetry. I'd pay for this one - and I have for next Tuesday! Go and see them NOW. I LOVE these puppets!

Exercise: 5 mile cycle at 8am to pick up a parcel at the post office AGAIN.
