Twinkle Twinkle Little KiltWalk Stars

Whether it was "Old McDonald had a farm" or "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" nobody will ever forget the moment they first hear Edward Reid blow away David Hasselhoff (The Hoff), Amanda Holden, Michael Mcintyre and the Glasgow audience on Britain's Got Talent last year.

Edward Reid an Ambassador and strong supporter of Aberlour, appeared on Britain's Got Talent last year and famously sang the lyrics of nursery rhymes to well known pop songs.

So we are absolutely delighted that Edward, who was no stranger to charity work before his BGT performance, donned his kilt and pink sporran and joined Stirling Albion players Andy Hunter and John Crawley to participate in Aberlours KiltWalk preparation.

Edward said, "I'm really thrilled to be involved in this year's Kiltwalk with Aberlour. Aberlour and the other charities benefiting from The Kiltwalk, do fantastic work helping kids in Scotland. I'm really looking forward to helping the guys raise some serious money for the kids."

The Kiltwalk is a series of sponsored walks that have strong support from football supporters across the Scotland given the Kiltwalk was originally developed by the Tartan Army Children's Charity. Today the Kiltwalk aims to raise money to support four children's charities, with Aberlour being one of the beneficiaries.

The 2012 Kiltwalk takes place on Easter Sunday (8 April) and departs from Hampden Park, ending up at Loch Lomond Shores, Balloch - a total of 26 miles. The event will be kicked off by Scotland manager, Craig Levein and Cat Harvey from Real Radio. For those who fancy something less strenuous, there's the 10km Wee Walk around Loch Lomond Shores taking place at the same time. For more details, or to sign up to participate, go to www.thekiltwalk.co.uk.

David Brown of Stirling Albion said, "The Kiltwalk is a fantastic way to get involved and to help raise funds for Aberlour. We regularly support their young people, and we're really pleased to be associated with Edward Reid and Aberlour."
