Camellia

Looking decidedly wet and damaged, but this is our white camellia.  There is also a couple of flowers on the pink one.  Rather late, but since they were only planted in October, I'm pleased to get a few flowers this spring.

We braved the damp and chilly morning to visit the garden centre.  Lots of veggie seedlings purchased, a few house plants, and a small hebe. 

In the afternoon it did stop raining eventually and I planted up shrubs and bulbs in the new bed, then W scattered wild flower seed liberally around.  Now to wait and see.
