Pretty cabinet

It was steady and sociable at the hall this morning. One of the villages further down the Dale now has a bacon butty gathering on a Saturday morning, but only once a month. Those that live that way, who usually come to us, choose to go and support them on that morning so it's often a bit quieter. It's also bank holiday and few are away. Nonetheless it was a lovely morning. 
This afternoon we went off to Wheelbirks Ice Cream Parlour to collect milk for Barry. It was quite blustery and chilly today after  yesterday's sunshine so a ride out was rather more pleasant than working in the garden! I don't really like ice cream that much but they also make great coffee and cakes! 
They have a little gift shop amongst other things on site, and I thought the cabinet in the photo was rather pretty. I do like pottery.
I spent the evening watching a bit of TV and finishing my cardigan. Just the sewing up and button band to complete. It may be worth a blip when it's done!
