A day in the life

MOT

This day has always felt a bit awkward. The MOT could mean that I'm not alowed to drive further than the next garage because theres something serious and expensively wrong with something I wasn't aware of or, I can drive out of there like a free man and I won't have to come back in fourteen months. I'm always left with a tone of guilt that I don't know my car better, like I did in younger days when I knew exactly what to expect beforehand. Today the guy said well, you've got a ton of brakes left and there's nothing else wrong either, see you next year.

In the afternoon I took care of the trellis I started constructing yesterday. The net will be put on tomorrow, once the concrete has hardened. I needed three hands for some of the job so I'm happy to have a neighbour who gave me the helping hand.
